The jacket bursary is in place to help students who require financial aid. Donations to the bursary are always graciously welcomed. To apply for a bursary please fill out the required information page. All applications will be kept strictly confidential.

Pride and tradition is at the root of every student of the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science. These jackets symbolize the comradery, hardwork and dedication of each individual but aren't just given away to anyone. You have to earn them by climbing the pole, getting permission from upper years at Jacket Council, and successfully bringing your jacket home on pick up day. Once you dye it with gentian and if you complete your final exam, you are honored with the ability to wear it, and to join your classmates for your first slam.

When you finish your final exam in the fall semester you are honoured with the ability to wear it and slam with your classmates.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to own a GPA and take part in the spirit of the Queen's Engineering Society and should not be limited by ones financial situation. The jacket bursary is in place to alleviate students who require financial aid, and we are always graciously accepting donations to help fund the bursary.
To apply for a bursary please fill out the required information page. There are a limited number of bursaries, and will be awarded strictly on financial need. All applications will be kept strictly confidential.
